Gathering Berries by Luminous Fiber Arts Printed Paper Pattern
Strawberries hold such nostalgia for me. They take me back to slow summer days. I hope when you stitch these birds and berries that you'll reminisce about happy summer memories, too. This design has a classic, almost vintage feel with the red silk floss on a warm neutral fabric and mother of pearl buttons.
Stitch Count: 76H x 76W
Model: stitched on 32 count Sparrow linen by Luminous Fiber Arts with two strands of floss over two fabric threads.
Floss:
Belle Soie Cranberry by Classic Colorworks. If you stitch with two strands of floss (on 14/28 or 16/32 count), you will need two skeins. If you stitch with one strand of floss on a higher count fabric, you will need one skein.
Specialty stitches: There are a few back stitches in the berry stems. You can omit them if you prefer.
Pattern includes conversion to DMC.
